There seems to be a major misconception amongst a majority of home sellers, believing, the bigger the agency the more effective the sales team. Let me assure you from my own extensive, personal experience nothing could be further from the truth. When I think of a big sales team, the old adage, "too many cooks, spoil the broth", rings very true.

When it comes to real estate there are many rules of thumb. The one that I often relay to my clients, especially when it comes to them selling is, don't spend a dollar to make ninety cents. Two areas that are focal points when it comes to a property purchase is the kitchen and bathroom. Ironically these are the two areas that could end up costing the most to refurbish.

As a parent of three growing boys, I am forever asking myself the question, how will they ever afford to purchase a house? It is clearly obvious that the market is buoyant. Property prices across the whole of Australia have been on the increase for a number of years. Notwithstanding interest rates being as good as they have been, the question still remains, how is a young person with little or no savings going to be in a position to amass funds for their first home.
